Matrix Repatterning

Are you looking for lasting pain relief?

Do you have a stubborn pain that just won’t go away?

Matrix Repatterning can help!

Matrix Repatterning is a gentle, non-invasive, over the clothes treatment that relieves tensions and corrects injuries within the body at an extremely deep level. With the use of gentle pressure and the MatrixMag™, the Practitioner is able to identify the hidden, underlying conditions that are contributing to your pain and help eliminate them.

When we get an injury, no matter how minor we think it may be or how long ago it happened, it contributes to the pain pattern on our body. We tend to think that once the injury is gone then our body is healed, but we now know better. Over time, with repeat injuries or everyday bumping and bruising, the body compensates over and over until we start to see and experience symptoms.

With Matrix Repatterning, we are now able to change these patterns that have been left on our bodies over time causing us pain and dysfunction.

How it Works

Treatment involves the application of gentle pressure in a specific way along with a Bio-Electric Scan using the MatrixMag™ in order to trigger a response in the tissue to normalize.

With Matrix Repatterning, the Practitioner is able to locate the actual source of the dysfunction and help repattern the pain response. You see, where you are feeling the pain may not necessarily be the cause; you may be feeling pain in your right shoulder and the source may actually be coming from your left knee.

Recent evidence from the University of California, has shown us that when the body is injured the cellular structure of the bone enlarges 1. Matrix Repatterning is actually capable of restoring the bone’s natural shape.

In the first image the bone has expanded due to injury. After 6 Matrix Repatterning treatments the bone has reduced by half a centimetre.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you are new to Matrix Repatterning, we understand that you might have some questions. We are confident that we have the answers to your inquiries.

Below are the answers to some of the questions that are most commonly asked about Matrix Repatterning treatment. Should you have additional questions please feel free to contact us.

Matrix Repatterning is a form of manual (hands-on) therapy, which is applied to the deeper, denser parts of the body, such as the skeletal framework (bone) and the dense fibrous tissues (fascia) associated with the internal core structures. Areas of injury and strain may be precisely located based on an alteration in the mechanical and electrical properties within these tissues. Treatment involves the application of gentle pressure in order to release tissue tension, which can facilitate the restoration of muscle tone, flexibility, joint mobility and optimal biomechanical function.

This treatment can be done on anyone; children, adults of all ages including pregnant women or anyone with past or current injuries.

The examination process usually involves a detailed assessment of posture, ranges of motion, neurological signs, joint stability and other tests, when applicable. Your practitioner will determine the location of the primary restrictions, in order to formulate a treatment plan. Treatment is very gentle, since the cells retain the ‘memory’ of the normal structure, and only require precise coaxing in order to be repatterned. A series of treatments can release structural imbalances that have developed and been compensated for, over a lifetime, until the body has been restored to optimal function.

Since long-term imbalances are often being corrected, the body may respond for a period of several days after each treatment. The most common response is a reduction of symptoms, however a temporary aggravation of symptoms may also occur.

The average number of treatments a patient will need is between 6 and 12.

Treatments are gentle, non-invasive, and support the body toward normalization of function. Symptoms of pain, however, are subjective, and fluctuations in the sensation of pain are not unusual, as the nervous system responds to the changes created by treatment. Other temporary effects may also occur, due to the changes in cellular function, and may include fatigue, mild nausea, or even flu-like symptoms. Our suggestion is to relax, and allow the body the time to adapt to these changes, and support your body through rest, increased water intake, and other supportive measures, which may be recommended by your Matrix Repatterning practitioner.

For new clients we recommend booking 6-8 treatments of 45 minutes spaced one week apart, or as your schedule sees fit. There is no obligation to keep all of your booked treatments. If you find that Matrix Repatterning isn’t right for you, it’s easy to cancel those booked appointments.

Your first appointment will be mostly spent doing an extremely thorough assessment of your past injuries, health history, physical assessment etc. From there we will be able to determine the best course of treatment for you.
