Cathy Morris-Epple RN, OHN, BHScN

Cathy attended Canadore College in the Registered Nursing program. Worked as a Registered Nurse in Odessa, Texas USA in Neurosurgery and Orthopaedics. She then moved to Ottawa General Hospital where she worked on the Neurosurgery/Neurology floor. Cathy also worked at the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital for 16 years. She went on to receive her Occupational Health Nurse Diploma from St. Lawrence College in Brockville, Ontario, and her Bachelor of Health Science in Nursing at Charles Sturt University in Australia. Cathy worked for 17 years as a Nurse Case Manager for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Later went on to do Cardiovascular health monitoring as an OHN for Lifemark which is a company who monitors employees health as part of Employee Health Programs for 3 years.

Currently, Cathy is an Independent Practitioner connected with the North Bay Nursing Agency doing private duty nursing. She semi-retired briefly but felt the pull back into the nursing profession to work in preventative /natural health care.  Cathy has always been active physically and pro-active in her own self-care. She has walked 10 1/2 marathons, participated in Dragon Boat Races, climbed the CN Tower, and her current choice for physical fitness is Ashtanga Yoga for the past 6 years.
